Miss Maureen Monson, 1st Grade
My name is Maureen Monson and I am so excited to be teaching first grade! I received my Bachelors in Elementary Education from College of Saint Mary. Since graduating in December 2021, I spent time substitute teaching here in Omaha. This year is my second full year teaching in my own classroom.
The St. Cecilia community is one close to my heart as a fellow alumni and parishioner. I feel very privileged to return to this school as a teacher now, providing faith-based, engaging experiences for young learners.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching movies, working out, walking my dogs, and spending time with my family and friends.
I look forward to a wonderful school year!
