St. Cecilia Cathedral Elementary School is the premier Catholic elementary school in midtown Omaha. Conveniently located near UNMC, Creighton University, and downtown Omaha, this school community is the perfect location for you and your child. Our school welcomes many families who are employed downtown as we provide a caring environment with an optimal location, allowing parents to be involved in their child’s education. Our small class sizes allow for individual attention, which is then enhanced by our school-wide social and emotional learning program. With the pillars of our faith-based education, combined with our progressive liberal arts academics, our students grow in the classroom both spiritually and intellectually. Art and music are embraced, as well as our new state-of-the-art STEAM Lab and Media Center where all students, PreKindergarten through 8th grade, are growing their love and passion for learning on a daily basis.
How to Join the St. Cecilia Community
ENROLLMENT PROCESS
To complete the admission process for St. Cecilia Cathedral Grade School, students and parents must complete the following:
• Students in Grades 1 - 8 must schedule a tour with Mrs. Stoffel by completing the form below.
• The following documents must be on file in the school office: original birth certificate, original baptismal certificate (if Catholic), up-to-date health and immunization records
• If transferring from another school, a copy of all student records must be sent to St. Cecilia prior to full acceptance

St. Cecilia is blessed to be able to offer tuition assistance to our families.
St. Cecilia Parish Tuition Assistance: St. Cecilia is blessed to be able to offer tuition assistance to our families. The St. Cecilia Education Endowment Board awards at least $50,000 each year for school families who are in need of tuition assistance. Parish assistance applications are due by March 31, 2024. Please contact the school office for more information.
Children's Scholarship Fund: CSF provides scholarships for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade whose family qualifies financially. CSF applications will be available online from
