Hi Cardinals!

Click here for our Take Home Tuesday this week to review the information and reminders as we return to learn together. There is still an OUT OF UNIFORM day tomorrow for the students and staff to celebrate completing a stellar first half of the year!

Operetta - Rehearsals start this week! Check the Google Classroom (LINK) for all schedules and updates using code eq7yqvn. Oompa Loompas do NOT need to be there for the Scene 1 days.

Volunteering - Basketball concessions & scoreboard help is needed! FUN & EASY way to earn your 15 required hours of school service! Monies made through these concession stand and ticket sales have made it possible for ABC to fund field trips and busing, equipment for the PE classroom, tables and bins for a kindergarten classroom, donuts for the Book Fair event, and so much more! Sign up by visiting https://stceciliacathedral.ivolunteer.com/basketball2023

Kindergarten Round Up - Registration is now open for Friday, February 2nd. Please click here to register! Both parents are encouraged to attend with their child. We are offering three sessions on this day:

Session 1: 8:30 - 9:45 AM

Session 2: 10 - 11:15 AM
Session 3: 11:30 AM - 12:45 PM

Dress Code - Pants or leggings (black, grey, navy) must be worn if the high is less than 50 degrees (which unfortunately will not happen for a while). Earrings must be studs or very small hoops which hug the ear lobe. Hair cuts for male students must keep hair above their eyebrow.

Please review the following dates and information as we all prepare to return this week:

1/10 - Quarter 2 ends! Out of Uniform day for all students to celebrate all they have accomplished during our first two quarters together!

1/15 - No School

1/16 - Report Cards

1/28 - Sunday School Family Mass @ 8:30 AM (led by 3rd-5th families) followed by our Community Breakfast in the Cafeteria

1/29 - Start of Catholic Schools Week!

2/2 - No School for Pre-K & Kindergarten; Noon Dismissal for 1st - 8th Grade

2/3 - Trivia Night (adults only)

Drive safe and dress warm tomorrow!

Book Fair started today and continues through next Thursday, December 14th! We are also hosting a Donuts with Grownups event this Friday, December 8th, from 7 - 8:15 AM to provide extra time to purchase books. Our school keeps 55% of the book fair profits for use in the classroom and library, so each purchase directly benefits our school!

As a school community, we are planning to have our families and staff serving through various forms of ministry at a weekend Mass. Our plan is to focus on engaging the different grade level groups throughout the year, starting with 6th - 8th grade. On December 10th at 10:30 am we are excited to have our students, staff and families participating in a special way at Mass. We encourage your family to attend, participate and stay for the pancake breakfast in the Cafeteria! We ask any students attending with their families to wear their school uniforms so our parishioners are able to see their presence within the congregation. Our school families and staff will get to participate by bringing up the gifts, greeting parishioners, choir singing during communion, serving, reading and as Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion. We hope you are able to join us!
